OnePlus 8T to Launch with 4500mAh Battery and 65W Fast Charging

OnePlus has revealed several key details about the OnePlus 8T ahead of its launch. Here’s a look at all we know about the phone’s battery.

Many features related to OnePlus 8T have been revealed so far. At the same time, the company has indicated through a teaser that the upcoming Smartphone OnePlus 8T will be using the new Warp Charge technology along with the dual cell charging system. This smartphone will knock the market with 65W Warp Charge technology. Earlier this technology has been introduced by OnePlus subsidiary company Oppo.

Talking about the new charging technology being released with the phone, OnePlus said: “Charging should be quick and simple to help make your digital life as burdenless as possible… With OnePlus’ focus on delivering a fast and smooth flagship experience, we changed our approach to fast charging with the OnePlus 8T 5G. Our new Warp Charge 65 technology will continue to transform the way people think about charging.”

OnePlus has revealed that the new 65W charging standard has been achieved because of OnePlus 8T’s new twin-battery configuration which allows the phone to charge more than twice as fast as Warp Charge 30T. “With this new setup, both batteries can charge at more than 30W simultaneously while staying cool even when using the phone.”

The launch invitation of OnePlus 8T has been given on the landing page given on the OnePlus website where the dual cell charging system is being shown. Seeing this, it can be guessed that fast charging support will be provided on this smartphone. Apart from this, the website has been hinted that in addition to ultra-fast charging support in OnePlus 8T, ultra-smooth scrolling will also be available.

The first dual-cell 65W fast-charging system from OnePlus 8T has been seen in Oppo’s smartphone Find X2. This smartphone was introduced with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 support and the company claims that it can charge 100 percent in 38 minutes. Now soon this technology will also be seen in OnePlus 8T.

Expected Price of OnePlus 8T

According to the leaks revealed about OnePlus new variant 8T, the price of the 8GB + 128GB model of this smartphone can be around EUR 599 i.e. around 51,700 rupees and the price of the 12GB + 256GB model can be EUR 699 i.e. around 60,000 rupees. However, no disclosure has been made by the company yet.

Possible specifications of OnePlus 8T

One-Plus 8T can be offered on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor. It will have a 6.55-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A quad rear camera setup will be available for photography. The primary sensor of the phone can be 48MP. While 16MP secondary sensor, 5MP macro lens, and 2MP portrait sensor can be given. The phone will have a 16MP front camera. A 4,500mAh battery may be available for power backup.
