Smartphone maker OPPO India announced on Wednesday that the latest launch Oppo Reno 6 series has been tested on Jio’s 5G network, which was made available by Jio 5G Labs. According to the company, very good results have been obtained during the trial. However, the company has not disclosed the figures.

According to Tasleem Arif, Head of Research and Development, Oppo India, the trial with the Oppo Reno 6 series is part of our research to better develop 5G for use by Indian customers. The trial of Reno6 series devices on Jio’s standalone 5G network reflects our commitment to continuously work towards providing cutting-edge technology to our customers.

OPPO is included in the list of top-10 companies, on whose behalf most 5G patents have been filed in the year 2021. The company has filed 3,900 patents in around 20 countries.
