It has been announced by Samsung Electronics on October 15 that the uploading speed of 711 Mbps has been achieved by it. This speed was achieved during the trial of Texas in the US in collaboration with mobile carrier Verizon and telecommunication technology company Qualcomm.
Samsung Electronics has made a world record in terms of 5G speed. Samsung has created a world record for 1GB downloading speed in 10 seconds using 5G mobile communication technology. It has been announced by Samsung Electronics on October 15 that the uploading speed of 711 Mbps has been achieved by it. This speed was achieved during the trial of Texas in the US in collaboration with mobile carrier Verizon and telecommunication technology company Qualcomm.
Samsung achieved a record 5G speed
Record 5G downloading speed has been claimed by the company Samsung. With which users will be able to upload 1GB of video in 10 seconds, which is twice the current downloading speed. This speed was achieved on the 200 MHz bandwidth. For this, two frequency bands have been used by Samsung. For this mm-wave, 5G bands were used. Samsung says that users will be able to download high-quality videos in a few minutes at the new uploading speed. Samsung has used 28GHz-band 5G cell site, 2.1GHz-band 4G cell site, and vCore (virtualized core) during the trial. Uploading speed is tested using Qualcomm generation 4.0 mmMave 4.0 mmMave 5G model RF system (snapdragon(r) x65).
Having said this, the 5G trial is going on all over the world including India. 5G trial has been done in India by Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone-Idea, BSNL, and MTNL. Airtel achieved a top speed of 1Gbps during the 5G trial.
The demonstration was done using Samsung’s 5G and 4G base stations and the Snapdragon X65 5G modem.
More specifically, the high upload rate was achieved through carrier aggregation technology by combining two or more frequency bands in Samsung’s 5G Compact Macro solution. The same 5G mmWave Compact Macro station was used by Samsung to speed up transfer rates in Seoul’s Metro network during a demonstration held last month.
