Tata Sky Launched Jingalala APPiness Offer, Subscribers Can Watch Videos For Free

As part of Tata Sky’s offer, the company is making the content of its Tata Sky Mobile app available for free. This is a limited time offer

India’s Leading DTH operator Tata Sky recently gave a shock to its users, under which the company closed its SD STB. But now a new offer from users has also been brought. The name of this offer is Jingalala Appiness. This offer is for all existing subscribers. Under this offer, the company is making the content of its Tata Sky Mobile app available for free. This is a limited time offer. Also, it is valid for the Tata Sky Mobile app only and can be availed from February 11 to February 17.

According to the company website, the contents in the Tata Sky Mobile app is now available for free. It includes more than 5000 titles, 400 live TV channels, and much more content. It is being said that VOD (Video on Demand) or TVOD and Movies on Rent will not be part of this offer. Under this offer, Tata Sky Services are being made available at a discounted rate on the app.

All Tata Sky services available on the app will be available at a discounted rate of Re 1. The DTH operator will also give some additional offers like up to 50% cashback on recharge, box upgrade and multi TV offers under this app-exclusive promotional offer. This offer is valid only on Tata Sky mobile app, subscribers won’t get any content for free on their television.

Tata Sky closes its SD box

Earlier this month, the company gave a shock to the users. The company had discontinued its SD set-top box. This STB has also been removed from the company’s website. After this, only 4 set-top boxes of the company are left which users can choose. These include Tata Sky Binge +, Tata Sky HD, Tata Sky 4K and Tata Sky + HD. This step has been taken by the company after the discount given on the HD set-top box. According to the DreamDTH website, Tata Sky removed this set-top box from its website on 5 February itself. However, it is not clear whether the company will stop serving or continue serving its existing SD set-top box consumers.
